I've diagnosed (See also: Thrown parts at) my lack of horns working. I replaced the relay, nothing. Replaced a horn, nothing. Though tragically I cut off the stock plug to splice the universal one.
I came up with this brilliant idea, albeit a bit too late, to set off my alarm with the horns plugged in.
They worked. So now, I'm trying to figure out just how the horn in my '88 works on the steering wheel end. Anyone got pics or anything?
Was it the Turn Signal/Horn Cam down inside the Steering Column? Usually they get Brittle over time and the Tower of it Breaks and the Wire inside don't make contact anymore thus Horns won't work. Pipe

Yess. I shoved a couple screws in there to correct the angle so it makes the connection now. I just wish I had discovered that before I cut my driver's side horn wire.
I went through the whole mess of pulling the steering wheel getting a lock removal tool from snap on and getting down to the horn/cam assy and replacing it. I believe it was like 30 bucks not to mention the tool from snap on. Good job on fixing it. Pipe
