Default Starting problem

When I try to start the engine it will crank and run for about 3 or 4 seconds and dies. I have tried to pull codes but only get the [12] code with nothing following. need some help here please!!

check fuel pressure at the rail. BTW fill out your profile or tell us what you drive.

Code 54, fuel pump low voltage. Post what year your vette is, all C4's are not made exactly alike and no one here is clairvoyant.
If you want to work on your car, you are going to have to own some tools and they will cost you less than the first bill you get from a garage!!
Engines need hot spark,spark at the right time, fuel and air and in the correct ratio and cylinder compression in order to start and continue to run.
It sounds like you have fuel starvation. Buy a fuel pressure gauge, they are about $12 at a parts store and measure the fuel pressure on the shraeder valve on the end of the right fuel rail. It should be 35-42 psi and it should hold up for 1/2 hour after the ign is off. Rapid pressure drop indicates leaky injector/s or defective check valve in the fuel pressure regulator. Report what you find for more help.
