Default Testing nuetral saftey switch

I got in my car last night to start it, pushed in the clutch, turned they key and nothing. No click, no wining, or anything. Battery has plenty of power, and the starter didn't give any signs of going out. Is there a way to bypass the neutral safety switch so I can see if that is my problem before I go buying parts that I don't need?

Look under the hush pad on the drivers side...You will see a Yellow and a Green/white stripe....Unplug it and jump those two wires...use the same gage wire to jump. Check your Crank fuse also It could also be the starter interrupt (located behind the multiuse center) for that you would have to jump the purple and green/white stripped wire.

What year car are we talking about?

This could be a VATS issue. Do you see a flashing *Security* light on the console?
