Hi all,stupid question,is the lt1 in a 95 vette and lt1 in a 95 camaro the same,i have both, and camaro does not call for syn oil,and forums say to change stat to 160 degree,vette forums say no on stat and to use syn oil ,thanks in advance:o

Your lt1 came with syn motor oil - stay with synthetic that meets the specs in your owners manual.
No need to change the stat. If you want the cooling fans to come on sooner get a chip burned by one of the tuners. IIRC fans don't turn on until water is over 230
