found relay, noticed theft fuse pulled out !
must have a problem vith the vats module.
how can i get the horn to work without the vats ?
I've heard of a vats bypass, is it as simple as snipping
the black wire at the horn relay for the vats ?

Thanks

Cut the black wire from Theft Deterrent Controller, at relay. You have a 50 % chance of getting it right the first time.
Have you tried a fuse in there ?

not yet dan,
I'm sure they pulled it for a reason. I have a good aftermarket alarm
so i'll cut the wire so i can have a alarm.

Thanks again

Does anyone know if this is the same for a 96 LT1. Also, I am a newbie to Corvettes and this is my first. What is the "Multi-Use Center"?
Thanks for your help.

"Multi Use Center" = "DIC". GM changed the name, or what they wanted to call it, someplace along the way.

Far as I know the general location and layout of these components is basically the same for any C4 - whichever dash style the car has. I expect that how you Get to it is a bit different between the early "flat" dash design and the later "cockpit" cars.

For your own safety DO NOT take this to OT. You'll never either hear the end of it or live it down.
