It started out as a 89 L98 Block and was Bored .30 over 0 decked and Drilled for Milodon Splayed 4 Bolt Caps, Line Bored and Honed. It has a Lunati Lightweight Forged Steel Crank with a 3.750 Stroke. The Connecting Rods are Howards Billet I Beam w 7/16 Capscrews and are 6 Inches Long. The Pistons are Forged Wiseco's Flat tops. The Cam is also a Howards Custom Grind Solid Roller with the Jesel Shaft Rockers that are 1.6 I and 1.6 E it should be 627 Lift and 246 Duration on a 112 Lobe Seperation and has Howards Roller Lifters. A Cloyes Timing Chain and Gears are up Front with a Mezerie Elec. Water Pump. The Heads are Brodix Track 1s with 2.08 I and 1.6 E Ferrea Titanium Valves, K Motion Valve Springs with Titanium Retainers and 10 Degree Locks. They Started out with 220 Runners. Slawko Racing Heads CNC Ported and Polished em CC'd the Combustion Chambers to 65CC and did the 3 Angle Valve Job on em. I had to Trim the Fel Pro #1206 Intake Gaskets Slightly cause the Ports were just a Hair Bigger. I have the TPIS Mini Ram on it now with a AS&M 58MM TB right now. (was thinking of selling the Mini Ram and TB to put a FAST Injection System on it) I'm using the GM Dist. Moroso Ultra 40 Race Wires with a MSD 6al box. I sure hope it runs good. Now after its done I said to myself I could kick myself in the *** for not building something bigger. O well Pipe

Nice looking engine!

-Have you given any thought to how the rattling of your "rattler" damper is going to effect your knock sensor readings?

-That Driver's side valve cover looks like it is going have to be notched and re-welded to clear the wiper motor.

Funny Story after the Balancer arrived I took it out of the box and it rattled. I thought it broke on the inside somehow during shipping. So I called the tech guy on the phone and asked whats up with the Rattle is it broke? He said it's supposed to rattle like that. I hung up the phone and thought what a dumb *** I am. I'm sure the solid roller cam and the rattler balancer won't help matters. Maybe I should have put on the aluminum ATI balancer (small and lightweight) instead. You're right the valve cover will have to be notched to clear the wiper motor. I hope to spin her up pretty high in the rpm range. I'm sure after awhile on the street/strip will have me pulling out stuff to make it lighter. THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS GUY'S Pipe
