Second, a 7/16" poly lock will not screw on to a 3/8" stud and if you try it, the vavle train will fail.
That would be stupid I never said I would do that.

That is the one I'm having a hard time with. Because as I see it. the rocker needs a .600 X 1.2 poly lock to do the job why does the stud size matter.
I swear I'm not trying to annoy you

Jake
I'm on a budget that's why I went with used. I do plan on buying the studs but cheaper locks if I can find them. I already have a call in to Summit.
Thanks for all your help Jake. Sorry for being a pain in the butt.

What you're not grasping is the fit of the rocker trunnion over the stud. A 7/16" rocker on a 3/8" stud will be extremely and fatally loose. During operation the rocker will flop around, wear/bind and fail taking with it who knows what other parts.
The correct fit between the rocker trunnion and stud is critical. Either too loose or too tight are bad news for your engine.

1. Rocker has to fit on the stud.
2. Keeper/poly-lock has to fit on the stud threads/size.
3. Poly-locks have to fit inside the rockers recesed opening if there is one.
4. poly lock has to fit the keepers threads, and reach the top of the stud to lock it in place.
Change to a different stud size, all this **** is useless, and you need a full new set of rockers/polylocks.

I went shopping for you. I found a set on SUMMIT for $50 but they won't ship til 9/29, which is suspect is too long a wait.
You could call FLATLANDERRACING (number should be on their website) and probably get at set a lot sooner. FLATLANDER is a BIG Scorpion dealer; where I bought my two sets. Best price I found at the time at $222
