Default Fuel Source for N2O?

Purchased a ZEX wet kit a few months ago and I've found motivation to install it hopefully next week. I currently have a fuel pressure gauge that runs from the schrader valve behind the intake. Can I use this same spot to get the fuel for the N2O as well? If so, how can a single valve support both? Any insight is greatly appreciated. I would rather go this route rather than tapping into a fuel source elsewhere.

I have never installed a wet kit before but you should be able to get fuel from anywhere upstream of the regulator -- including the schrader valve. What did the instructions for your kit tell you to do about fuel?

When looking at the instructions it looks as if the two main options are the schrader valve or tapping into the fuel supply elsewhere. I would like to go the schrader valve route, but is it possible to run both the fuel line and the fuel pressure gauge from the same source? Or are their any other options within the engine compartment that would be same and reliable?

Putting a "T" anywhere on fuel supply line will work well and is not hard to do.

The pressure gauge does not require flow so it really does not matter where you put that either.

Your pump produces flow. Your regulator limits pressure by by sending extra flow back to tank. Your fuel pressure will be the same anywhere between the pump and the regulator.

This is very helpful....and greatly appreciated. If I were to look for a T fitting for the line behind the intake could I pick something like this up at a local auto parts store?

Im not sure what line you are running to your fuel solenoid. Your best bet would be to go to a performance shop. Show them what you are trying to accomplish and they should be able to help you out.

probably not, summit or if you have places like a parker hose/fluid systems they can help.
If you tap into the line you may want to consider tapping into it by the filter at the frame rail. I converted those metric fittings to all an to have less adaptors and keeps the t'd lines out of the way.

I ended up with a zex wet kit. Very nice piece of work. Was going to install it myself but wiring isn't my strong suit so I am having it installed by a local shop just outside of Nashville in about 3 weeks. Purge, warmer, remote opener, custom switch panel, etc. Very excited, I've been wanting to do this for a while.

Local shop completed the install Friday. Currently spraying a 100 shot and debating if I can go a touch more...perhaps a 125 shot. Fuel pump is replaced as you will see in the link, switch panel looks oem, and everything else is really clean.....the downer....my remote bottle opener isn't hooked up as of yet b/c it doesn't fit on my old compucar bottle for some reason. Hopefully will swap out bottles soon so that my zex specific opener is matched to a zex bottle. Car pulls great....window switch is in the console and hits at 3,000 rpm through 6,000. Very pleased....I'm hooked
