TB bypass what did i do wrong

Default TB bypass what did i do wrong



i followed these intrusions. i went and bought a cooper coupling connected the heater control valve and the intake manifold water outlet like the pictures say's. and left the water outlets on the TB open know it runs like crap!

also mine is an 87'

It's not due to the bypass.
Explain "runs like crap', like a plug wire knocked off ??

runs fine untill i floor the gas pedal it kind of chokes! i did remove the tb and used the same gasket, dis-screen the mass air flow sensor! i thought it was the mass air flow sensor but i tried a new one and the proble is still there!

Sure sounds like you did not plug something back in like the TPS. MPS, or even the mass sensor...check all connections that you touched.

Hopefully this is something simple.

when mine was done they put rubber caps on both water inlet and outlet

Rubber caps or not would not make a bit of difference.

The Throttle Position Sensor connector is the 3 wire connector on the upper passenger side of the throttle body assembly. If not connected, the motor will perform poorly.

your gasket may be bad and that will make it run bad cuz the maf is not reading that air that is coming in.
