i followed these intrusions. i went and bought a cooper coupling connected the heater control valve and the intake manifold water outlet like the pictures say's. and left the water outlets on the TB open know it runs like crap!
runs fine untill i floor the gas pedal it kind of chokes! i did remove the tb and used the same gasket, dis-screen the mass air flow sensor! i thought it was the mass air flow sensor but i tried a new one and the proble is still there!

when mine was done they put rubber caps on both water inlet and outlet

I suspect at the core of your problem is your lack of attention to detail.
The Throttle Position Sensor connector is the 3 wire connector on the upper passenger side of the throttle body assembly. If not connected, the motor will perform poorly.
