lowering and front spring
I had a new front spring installed and now the thing sits up like a 4 wheel drive. 3 inches above the tire on one side and 3 1/2 on the other.
The control arm bolts have been loosened and retightened so it's not that. I know they sell lowering blocks for the front spring, but I was wondering if I could just cut down the rubber blocks on the spring. Are they solid rubber? Also I was thinking about cutting the one on the high side a bit more in order to level out the car a bit. Are you supposed to reinstall the stock shims on an aftermarket spring?
Thanks to all who give advice
