need to know if these specs will work on a stock motor with out doing any changes to the ecm and prom i do not want to mess with that at all
Camshaft Specs:
Thats so close to stock I wouldnt even bother unless you have no cam at all. Should run on a stock tune but its always a + to get it right even if it "feels" ok.
With 1.6s it may net you 15-20rwhp. You may also look into new springs if going to 1.6s. With any camshaft change, a tune would be in your best interest.
Looks like that cam is ground on 112 LSA which is probably tighter than the stock cam. The tighter LSA may call for a slightly higher idle speed, but that would depend on what LSA you're currently running (how much tighter the above cam actually is).
You could always call PCMFORLESS for their feed-back since they tune all sorts of cams and engine combinations.
it is a flat tap cam which is what i think is in a 86 just want to stay stock on the motor like i said im not wanting to change the ECM OR PROM thats why im trying to see if this will work without changing anything
