Turn Signal Help

No whichever direction I choose, that front signal comes on and stays on. But the rears are only visable if you apply the breaks, in which they light up brighter then the non turning rear lights but dont blink either. Aka if i have the brakes on, turn signal to right, the right rear lights are brighter then the lefts as they should be. But to create a blinking motion, currently i have to turn the stalk left or right, then return it to center, then turn it again. Which is still only visable if the brake is applied. My four ways however, work fine. Thanks btw.

ok you have 4 ways, brake lights, that rules out a few things. I think it is likely turn single switch. I do not have that year wireing diagram but that is the common link for what you have and don't have sorry I could not be more help.
