I think that means there is a bulb missing. Now that could be that one is not making connection. Pull the bulbs and check the connection on each one on that side.

At least thats what I think it is...

The same flasher controls both sides so if the other side works then the flasher is ok.

There's a flasher relay. Not sure about turn signals, though.... I'm at work, not at home where my FSM's are.

OK im looking at the wiring diagram for the turn signals and running lights. I dont see a relay. From the fuse it goes to the flasher. Then from the flasher it goes to the turn signal switch. from there it goes to the lights. Not seeing a relay unless im missing it.

If the bulbs are good and the fuse isn't blown, could it be a bad turn signal switch?

I dont think it is the fuse either since the power is getting to the bulbs. I think you are right in that the turn signal switch is bad.

And if the other side works normal, fuse is good. One fuse and one flasher control both sides and the reverse lights.

I think turn signal switch

Had the same prob with my 94 coupe. Lights worked great to the right, locked on to the left. I thought I was looking at replacing the multifunction (turn sig/wiper/cruise lever) switch. Some electrical contact cleaner spayed up into the multifunction switch cured the issue. I used Deoxit D5. Stuff works miracles on contact switches. Fixed the same problem on my 99 F-250 truck when the dealer said replace the switch. That's where I got the idea from to try it on the corvette. It is also good for cleaning the contacts on automatic AC control when it starts giving trouble. It's worth the investment just to have a can of the stuff lying around. It may also save you a lot of money and a heck of a lot of aggravation. It has for me.

Not nessarly. And he never said it was just one side. 98% of the time if it was the switch the indicator would not light because it would not be getting the voltage needed to light.

There is no relay in the turn signal circuit. Turn signal flashers work on current. Low current, slow or no flashing. High current, rapid flashing. Your turn signal lamps, including the green indicator on the cluster stays on because of low lamp current. You should notice dim turn signal lamp/s. You may have a poor connection in the lamp sockets. I doubt it is turn signal switch resistance, but you can prove it by measuring the voltage drop across the switch with a voltmeter. Measure between the battery positive post and one of the turn signal lamp hot wires. It should be very low voltage, less than 1/4 volt. If both sides stay on and don't flash and front and rear lamps are lit, I would suspect the flasher. Again you can test the flasher by measuring the voltage across it, again, it should be less than 1/4 volt when it is in the on condition.

I have a major grimlin with mine. It used to be both turn signals would flash, but sporadically when they were turned on. Now neither work, however whichever way i turn the stalk, the front turn lamp stays on solid, and only if I apply the brake does the rear light light up bright. From all this it sounds to be the flasher?

Maybe you can try the hazard flasher switch to eliminate the turn signal switch as the problem.

Are you saying that if you turn the left on both fronts come on and if you turn right both fronts come on?? If this is the case try this try your 4 ways. see if they work. you can even turn the 4 ways on and off a few times. tell me what happens
