A long time ago my radio stopped working (it just started to function on and off until it died completely) so I'm wondering if there are any adapters that will allow me to fit an aftermarket radio with the stock bose system?
I know there was one on Corvette Central but it's for older C4's and I don't know if that will work.
and stock radio replacements cost way too much. I have a trip in Nov. and my girlfriend really needs the music for this 10 hour trip so I'm trying to figure out what I could do.
Anyone ever have their C4 radio unit die on them too? easy fixes?
So is it the radio or the CD that quit? I know a guy in Escondido, CA, that repairs the CD's, which have a heat-sensor that tends to fail.
The radio unit itself stopped working completely and does not even light up anymore. Before it died, it would be half-lit and still functioning but it seems to have died on me. I probably had the volume on max for too long and fried it, perhaps?
Holler at Kurt at Fixworks@aol.com They fix Delco Bose radios and their prices are good, too.
