How do I tighten up my turn signal stalk?
The stalk has some play in it. Its loose enough to make 1" circles at the end. I want to know if it is easy to tighten up, maybe replace a part in the column? Anyone do this?

You have to remove the wheel with a puller...(can borrow at AutoZone) There is a screw that holds the Signal stick to this part.
Tighten up this part also ...I think there are three screws that hold it.

Yea, you just need to tighten the screws that hold it. the problem is to remove the wheel ever so carefully and not disturb the airbag. It is like messing with a bomb. I had one pop on me once. It was not a pleasurable experience!

I've taken the airbag off my car 4 times in the past few weeks. No problems so far.
I disconnect the battery, wait about 30 minutes, then disconnect the 10A airbag fuse in the passenger side fuse panel. Staying to the side of the wheel, unscrew the two Torx screws on the back of the wheel. Then, from outside of the car, reach in and wiggle the airbag up off the wheel, then let it rest in one hand while you disconnect the yellow connector from the back with the other. Carry it away with it facing away from you and set it out of the way. Don't turn the ignition on while it's unplugged or you'll set a INFL REST code.
Then pull the steering wheel off with a puller. Remove the back cover cap from around the stalk base (push it towards the dash and it snaps out). That should get you close enough to figure out what the problem is. I think there are a couple of screws down in there that might be loose but I didn't pay much attention to that. It might just be worn plastic.
