Default changing gears
What is involved with changing to 3.07s? Is it a simple task or something a shop should do? I know its a dumb question but I never did it before or saw anyone do it.

This job is not for the average guy. Unless you are familar with using a dial indicator and understanding how gears need to mesh for optimum performance, you would be better off sending it to a reputable shop. This is one area where you don't want sloppy work.
