I found the small oil leak I have been having problems with. After letting the car sit for a couple of days and then driving it down the street to the stop light, I would notice a small amount of smoke. When I changed the plugs last week I noticed the back passenger part of the header was dirty from oil. This morning when I checked my rocker arm torque's, I noticed the second I took off the valve cover what the problem was. My heat wrap that goes around the EGR tubing has frayed a bit and about 8 threads were stuck inbetween the head and the valve cover gasket allowing oil to drip right out lol. Some scissor work and 10 seconds later it's fixed :).
Anyone know how bad it would be for me to remove that heat wrap? It looks awful since it's old. I'd rather just cut it off (and of course take off the EGR, but with high compression and emission, I better not).
Somebody sells a new wrap for kinda cheap, I remember $27, but I don't know if thats right. I'm looking for it now in my catalogs. Mine looks awful too, the whole motor is gorgeous except for that little spot.

About 300 miles after I had my motor done, my roomate parked in my spot one night, then the next day I parked in it. Walking out, I just about had a heart attack, there was a little puddle under my car, towards the back of the engine, signifying a LOT of work.. I rolled it forward and did a complete inspection on the rear-main area, and it was competely dry! Whoohoo. It took me a while to figure out where it had come from...stupid Nissans! I was really worried because I had to modify my rear main mounting assembly because it wouldn't quite fit the crank shaft.
