LT1 wire replacement
do I really need to pul the alternator and all that crap???? whats my best bet??? :cry

Pass side nothing needs to be removed. Driver side, remove the ASR motor from it's mounts and push to the side, center wheel well shield, tensioner and belt, loosen the power steering pump. That's all I do and I don't think it's too bad a job. Just a few hours taking your time.

Thanks Rich. I just did the plugs this mornin, not too bad and already have the ASR out, so hopefully it wont be too bad

Hehehe.... ahh.. better you then me :)
I took the alternator out just so you can see what bolts to remove on the PS pump.. there are something like 5 bolts... 3 of which loosen the pump. Some say you can get them from under the car without taking anything off, maybe on a lift, but lying on the ground? not me.
