Should the security light come on with the bulb test? I have the check gauges light with key on but never see this light. I am still trouble shooting the no crank, no DIC, no dash lights, no courtesy lights (except with dash switch). Appreciate the help as opposed to pulling the cluster again. Thanks
Also - I am also looking at the grounds on the BCM again. 3 ohms resistance at the chasis ground under the dash. 3 Ohms at the body and on one of the wires and almost 6 on the other. If I am reading the FSM right these go to G106 on the bell housing. How in the world do you remove this nut? I've seen suggestions to go to a new ground but I don't think I can get close enough to even add some wire to move the ground down lower on the bell housing. And to cap it all off it doesn't look like there is even room for the nut to come off the stud. http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/a...00910-2112.jpg
Some of your symptoms point to fuse #38 LCD 5 amp fuse being blown.
It's located in the fuse panel passenger end of dash. (Open passenger door to gain
access to the fuse panel).
Also verify the under the hood Fuse Block #2, Interior Lighting fuse #1 20 amp fuse
is not blown.
Some of the items the LCD fuse provides 12 volts to are the following.
1) Courtesy lamp relay
2) Tone generator
3) Instrument cluster which includes the Security Bulb.
Both fuses are Hot at all times.
What is the history of this car?
Not sure about the no crank.
When the ignition is off, the Security light should blink if the driver or passenger door is open.
What is the problem with the Driver Information Center?

Thanks for the reply. All the fuses test good and power to the DIC, dash lights etc. are all good. When these circuts get a proper ground then they work fine. Looks like the BCM is the culprit. Sending it to K&BCorvettes tomorrow.
The security light and a lot of other things all work right now. Interior lights, the dash lights, the DIC, and the engine cranks after having the BCM / CCM repaired at KandB Corvettes Alpharetta GA. I'd have to say it is even more run to put that sucker back in than it was to remove it! Now it seems the PCM may be next. It seem that there is no juice - Plenty of spark. Will be picking up a NOID light tomorrow before watching a little Thursday night college football (Wildcats and Huskers)

The security light comes on when you open the door.
The light comes on with the key in "on" not "run" position.
You get the chimes as well as the light with the key in ignition & "off" or "lock" position. Now I'm getting confused.

Unlikely you will receive a response. This thread is thirteen years old and the two members you quoted haven't posted in over five years. Thread closed.
