Having had the head gasket on my '85 done earlier in the year, I never got far since the gear box had packed up.
So, only now since getting the gear box sorted, have I had a proper drive.
A few things, I've noticed now that sod all air is coming through the vents, note that I had the heater matrix replaced at the same time the head was done. Is there anything the garage may have done here?
Also, the cruise control no longer works....
So thinking maybe vacum? Any pointers as to where I need to be looking?

Vac line from plenum goes to a check valve T, the outs from T are for cruise/vac storage and HVAC vacuum operated doors. Since you have problems with both, I would start looking there.
