I've been looking for some long-tube headers for my 86. My engine is completely stock, and the exhaust has a magnoflow cat-back system. I'm hell-bent on long tubes, and these are the ones I think I want:
If anyone has any suggestions, I only want long tubes, and I only want ones that have all the connections for the AIR system and the plug for the 02 sensor. Thanks guys!

The Hookers are a great choice for performance. But, their walls and flanges are thinner than other headers. Some might consider that a detriment -- if you're building a street car for longevity. IOW, some people will choose a option with thicker tubing (and flange) for longevity and quiet.
It's hard to go wrong with any option. They will all help. If I had a stocker though, I'd save my pennies and pick the Hedman Elites. They, being thicker/heavy duty, qualify for the argument made above.
I haven't seen any Hedmans that have all the necessary tubing for the AIR system, 02 sensor, and EGR pipe. I would like a set with those, as I don't wanna go through removing all that. Thanks for your input though.
I have Stainless Works, they weren't cheap but they installed good and had the AIR and 02 built in correctly. Mine is a LT1 93. I know the older engines have different connections but I would think SW would have same quality connections in all their headers. The only problem is they only offer 1 5/8" tubes which is fine unless you decide to do major mods.
I think I'll just go with the hookers that I found...
Unless I could find a way to make those LG Pros fit
You don't want to get them at normal pricing. I paid $1095 shipped on sale but that was with Hi Flo cats and lead pipes to the resonator. So you knock off 250 -300 for the cats and lead pipes and it wasn't too bad for quality stainless headers.
When I put my 383 in about 4 months ago I wanted to get the TPIS headers, these are well made and have an excellent ceramic coating but they were out of stock and wouldn't have anymore in for 2 weeks. I needed them right away so I ordered the Hooker #2151 headers which are the same header your looking at but without all the emissions hookups. The Hookers seem to be well made and bolted right up, but some say the ceramic coating isn't as good as the TPIS header..I would still prefer to have the TPIS headers, they are just a little more money but the better coating is the big selling point..My 2 cents..WW
Now that I think of it, the TPiS have the 1 3/4 primaries which I would prefer when I eventually (hopefully) do my 383 conversion. Maybe I could get some used ones...Thanks for the help guys!
We may be a little more money than others, but you definitely get what you pay for! 304 Stainless, the primaries have a .065" wall thickness, 3/8" cnc laser cut flanges and everything is tig welded - and to top it off, they are made here in the U.S.A.
Those Stainless Works headers looks amazing, if you have the $$ i say go for them
i got Hedman Elite Series and the fitment couldn't be any better, they were in real easy !
Driver's side straight from the top and passenger side from below, but its a 5 minute job to get them in place !
Btw if you look on Hedman's site there's a version of this thermal coated headers with all the AIR tubes.
This thermal coated headers doesn't hold much heat and they cool down real fast !
Some pics for you :

On a 415 L98 one tube of TPiS non-coated long-tubes developed a pin hole leak at the top of #5 right where it turns to go down coming out of the head. T
hat effected idle and was immediately noticeable. Couldn't be heard, but the idle quality went south noticeably. JUST a pin-hole, too!Headers had less than 10,000 miles on them.
We just finished the first part and I only have the photos of them installed on the car. Once I get some production systems made up I'll have a full layout. Nick will chime in with the details and pricing for you. If you need anything else in the mean time please let me know.
When I click on the info for the hedman elites, it says they are non EGR equipped. I really don't want to spend the extra effort to remove the EGR stuff.
