Wiring for headlight door module
http://www.franken-us-buddys.de/inde...-%20Wiring.pdf
Look under 90 -95 chassis schematics; pg 21
'A' tells the module to 'go' when 12v+ is applied...can be to go 'open' or 'closed' depending on how the motor is wired, module will only power up motor until circuit shows no 'ripple' (telling the module that the door is at end of travel)
'C' tells the module to drive the motor in opposite rotation whenever 12v+ is applied there.
'B' and 'E' are both power feeds 12v+, should be fused (high amp) AND circuit breaker (low amp)...note that the module does NOT limit current flow, only reacts to 'no activity downstream' (oem vette wiring uses only a 30A fuse, module internal relay is 10A rated IIRC, do the math)
'D' is 'earth' (chassis 'ground')...must be a 'heavy gauge' wire as this completes circuit for both motors simul.
on the '4-pin' side:
A and B output 12v+/ground to one motor.
C and D drive other motor.
'nother way:
use a 'momentary' dpdt switch to circuit breakers for each motor, trash the module...raddyshack has that switch for $5.oo
