I am new to this game, so hoping to find something useful for my C-4.
I just bought a 1996 in excellent condition with less that 60k and had to R&R skins.
I drove car for 300 miles before do this and had no issues with LTWPS, but now I cannot get light to go out. The factory label calls for 245 in front and 275 in rear, car had 275 in front and 285 in rear, but could not find 285 without custom order, so now car has 275 all around.
Dealer was careful and did find they had placed wheels in wrong locations, but broke down wheels and re-inspected, then installed in correct locations.
If these units are RFI specific it should of got light to go out by placing in correct locations.
I have covered light, but do not like this action for issue is still there.
I was speaking to a C-6 owner and he mentioned that systems needs reset and that even the new C-6's are specific to wheel location with sensors too. GM must not think we rotate wheels.
I did read week or so again that you did need a magnet to reset, but this must be something special for magnet does not work.
ANY information is great. Anybody know about the tool to reset these components.
