Just thought I would chime in ;). Just put some playing cards in your spokes if you want noise makers. Cutouts will not give you any power in a C4.

I dont know if you are addressing me, or Glock. I want to use the cut out as a way to quiet my car.
Currently I have true duals, no cats, and borla exhuast. It is kind of loud, not to me, but to others who live around me, the local police, and the resonace on the high way sucks!
I plugged up the 2 inner tips on the borlas and the noise was cut down a lot. It also looks like crap, even painted black! After so many time of pulling the plugs out, they break.
If I could mount the cut out in the inner exhuast tips (after the muffler), I could adjust it as I see fit, and maybe it would look a bit better then the plug in the pipe if done right.

I'm going to try some muffler eliminators for $50 first to see how they sound. If the resonance is too bad, then I might just put the stock mufflers back on and just swap between the two cat-backs I have depending on my mood.

Are you still running a stock like exhuast? cats, manifolds?
I had one of my muffler get ripped off when I hit a raised man hole cover (lowered car, with a 250LB buddy in the car), only one pipe wide open, it was rediculous, sounded like a boat ripping through the streets. :lol:
