First off, I have seen in other posts where people will make reference to following a fault tree associated with a DTC. I have a FSM but I don't see anything like that. Is there a section in the FSM that contains fault trees?
Now my specific problem. I had a coolant leak and identified a leaking water pump as the culprit. I replaced the pump and thought while I was in there that I would also replace the Opti-spark along with plugs, wires and coil. Now the vette has what sounds to me to be a misfire. It is throwing a code P0300 and sometimes also a P0303, P0305 and P0307, it will throw only one of these codes at a time. I rechecked my connections to the opti and to the plugs on the driver's side and found everything to be good and tight.
Any ideas? I could follow a fault tree if anybody would let me know where it would be.
Thanks.

narrow it down to which cylinder is misfiring. to do this, while the car is running unplug one injector at a time and see if there is a change in idle. the idle should drop or roughen up when you unplug one. when you find the one injector that has no change when you unplug it, that is your missing cylinder. check the plug and wire connections on that cylinder. when i replaced my opti i had a miss afterwards and it ended up being one of my plug wires wasnt connected all the way on the opti
Thanks guys.
I isolated the problem to cylinders 5 and 7 and I did indeed switch those two plug wires. Pretty boneheaded I know but an easy fix. Thanks again.
