Default Installed new fuel pump, now running rough...

I just installed a Racetronix Walbro 255lph fuel pump for my 1996 LT4 last night, and the engine is running very rough this morning (hard to idle, low power, check engine light on). I had to stick about 4 gallons of 87 octane into the tank, and am wondering if that would cause these symptoms. I added some octane booster and filled the rest of the tank with 91 octane, but havent noticed a difference yet. Do you guys think the problem is the fuel, or could it be something else? I did not do a leak down test yet, but did not observe any leaking fuel or gas smell.

Thanks

Checking the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with the pump running would be a great first step.

I feel pretty dumb about right now. A few of the injector connectors were not seated very well. I double and triple checked that, but still managed to miss it. Note to self: don't work on the car at 3am.

Do you think driving about 50 miles to work in that condition would have caused any problems in the cylinder? It is very strong and runs great now. I will verify the fuel pressure tonight as well.

Why were the injectors taken off. I thought you just replaced the FP?
