1988 4+3 Transmission Question
The button on the top of my gear shift suddenly stopped turning the overdrive on and off. Does anyone know what could have caused the problem and how to fix it? Now it goes from first gear to the overdrive gears as soon as I shift to second but will come out of the overdrive gears under hard acceleration. I checked the manual to see if it could be anything as simple as a fuse, but the manual does not indicate that there is a fuse that controls that particular switch. Thanks for any help you can give.
