What are signs of a malfunctioning IAC?, would it cause tickover to rise and fall/surge when at stop lights? I thought I had an Opti problem, but went on a 150 mile drive with no running problems at all, just get this surge when in drive time to time, when stationary, most electrics replaced but not opti or IAC, no codes showing, car has done about 51 000 miles.

Never seen a code for an IAC, and tuner data loggers only show what the IAC is being told to do, not what the counts actually are.
