Fastchip question?
I wanted to get a generic chip from fastchip.com I talked to the guy today and he asked me if i had any mods so i told him the basic ones i had. He said since my screens and fins were removed from my maf sensor the chip wouldnt work beacause it would run to lean or something like that. then he tried to sell me a custom chip. I told him i was'nt interested. Is this true? it sounded like he was just trying to sell me a custom chip. Could someone posibly explain this to me. Or was he just trying to hose me Thanks Ron

siber- Ed at fastchip is great with custom tunning, its your maf. Since you removed the honeycomb grid it is very difficult to accuratly tune your ecm. The computer will eventually override some parameters of the custom chip. My advise is to replace your maf and get Ed Wrights fastchip.

He told me my maf would be fine if i got a custom chip. He would be able to make it work i just dont want to spend $350 beacuse i dont plan on many mods I was just curious.
