More noise
I just had a new set of Exotic Headers put on with the larger flow cats, it really sounds better. The stock mufflers, I don't know does any one have an idea to get a deeper sound. Should I save up more money for new mufflers, basically everything else is stock. Please let me know if you think new mufflers would make it a little louder or what about electric cutouts. Thank you very much.

Get the Magnaflows, I got them for my 87, They have the Single output LT1 tips that are black. No cats, no drone, sounds aggressive getting on the freeway.

Going aftermarket mufflers will definitely give you more sound. And with high flow cats and headers your mufflers are the most restrictive in the system and you'll actually gain some in performance. Cut outs will make it really loud (significantly more than mufflers), look at some videos on youtube, and if you have to do emissions you can't pass the check with them.
