Default TB part 2

Ok, I got all new sensor on the the intake and TB. The TPS is giving me a read from 39-45 if I move it up and down. I can't get it to go higher.
I put a long tube in the the IAC hole to cut down the volume and I got a idel speed of 500-900 rpm. The TB is a BBK 58mm brand new plus all new gaskets.

OK, the question.

1: did I get the wrong TPS for the low voltage?

2: since I did get a bigger TB do I need to have the computer reprogam?

You are supposed to rotate the TPS.
No, the computer doesn't have to be reprogrammed.

My TPS does not rotate. It has fixed holes with the right size hole for the screws to fit and not move.

FYI people not all C4 have the TPS that moves like on the LT1 and up. So please do not keep telling me it rotates or moves because on a L98 it does not unless you got the one for the LT1.

You might have a vacuum leak if you have a 1500 rpm idle

ok, I should have been more specific. You move the TPS back and forth to obtain the right voltage.

i see now, there is no way we know it was a '90
He names L98 only

Everyday you learn something new !
i didn't know it !

Is it better to have a fixed TPS ?
what if we use a '90 tps on an earlier model,or it has to do with non-maf cars ?
