LT1 swap?

I had a 1995 impala SS LT1 and Transmission I bought from a mechanic I know back in 1999. I was going to put it in a 1987 olds cutlass I had at the time. To make a long story short that project never happened. So the motor and transmission has been in my garage for over 10 years now. I gave this to my buddy who wants to put it in his 1992 RS Camaro and swap the tired 305 with the LT1 and the 4L60E transmission. Does anyone know what he will have to be replaced in the motor or transmission after sitting around in my garage for so long. It came out of a wrecked car with a little over 40,000 miles on it. I have all the wires and everything. I can't seem to find the computer. I have to look around in some boxes for it. Will this be an easy swap? Can anyone give my any tips? Thanks.
