I do not have a service manual on your car. And altough it has been awhile and I do not recall things real good I seem to remember a car coming into the shop with close to what you are describing. It turned out to be security related. If I remember right some where in the eairly 90's GM combined more of the vats system with the security system. Prior to this the security light would only come on with the security system not vats. With the security light coming on and then not being able to start I would really think it is in the security system. May be someone on here could post the trouble tree and wireing diagram for your car on here it would help a lot. Again I may be wrong when the systems became more intragrated if I am sorry. Still hopefully some one cam post the tree and wireing diagram.

I ended up doing a search on Yahoo of all places for a 92 ECM and came across a thread on here where someone had the same problem. So I ordered a new ECM it should be here in a couple days.
