Default Delteq plug wire

Who was it that had the custom length wires that were nicely routed on an LT1? I seem to recall they were blue.

Mine were blue.

I made the wires set myself. I don't remember what brand they were. Just buy high qulaity wires, and stay away from Taylor, and you will be fine.

Brackets were just generic Moroso parts. LINK

I also used some of these: LINK

My Delteq was mounted under the surge tank, to the firewall, where the evaporator core used to be.

Thanks Steven. My coils are mounted on the driverside valve cover, but those pics are giving me some good ideas. I like those double wire separators. Anybody else?

The NAPA/Belden Premium Super Blue ignition wires are *ahem* blue. O.E.M. fit and length, too.

The problem with those are they for the stock wire routing from the opti. With the delteq, the 4 dual coils are on top of the valve covers and the wires will need to be custom length. I remember seeing a picture on here of somebody that had them routed back along the intake and around the back of the motor almost like they came from a sbc distributor.

Not blue, but here's what I did on mine

Engine from driver's side:

Engine from passenger side:

I fabbed up a bracket out of stainless sheet metal that mounts the coils behind the intake.

That looks great. I should have mounted mine like that.
