that would be correct, i slapped a blower on a 383 stroker that had 9.5 : 1 and it did not like it!
so cracked block bent valves broke pistons

I have an Eaton M112 on my truck, you gotta love the low end torque these roots type superchargers produce. Then to put that on a 383, there must be no traction.
