Nice 89!

The wheels are a 1990 one year only, "cuisinart" design with the exposed lug nuts. The wheels are directional and are mounted backwards on your Vette.

ahhhh perfect. I wonder if when new tires were put on the treads were put on so i can't put them the correct direction without having them all remounted and balanced

Look at the tread design and see if it "points" one way or the other. In other words, if you turned the tire around, would the tread look the same. If so, then you can just swap the wheels side to side.

Looking at the pics you posted you'd have to dismount them to correct the directional issue. Don't worry about it for now it won't really be a big deal the way they are those blades/spokes are not super functional for pulling the air anyway. Enjoy the ride.

Yeah def directional. But like you said i think i'll just keep em as they are for now. no point in wasting money when there are precious parts to be bought
