Clutch condition
Hi..
my question..how can you check the condition of the clutch on a 90 L98
without disasembling it?
are there possibilities?

When the clutch pedal is near the top of it's travel before the clutch engages means it's time for a new clutch :cheers:

a very crude test (I've heard about) is to rev motor somewhat, and drop clutch in 1st or 2nd. If it doesn't stall, it's spinning. Dumb, I know, sorry.

hi..
i checked pedal travel, the clutch grabs about 3-4 inches before top end-i hope you know what i mean, my english isn´t perfect
does this seem ok?

you're english sounds fine to me, and so does 3-4 inches before catching. If it were like 1, then i'd be worried.

I just had my clutch master cylinder replaced, and it now seems to engage too close to the floor.
Since I just got it out of storage, I don't remember this condition before. Could it be improperly bled? It's an 88 4+3.
