Default Decent rotors?

Some advice.... Ok I need rotors. I dont want to just by the duralast crapola from Autozone. What would be some decent rotors without going way crazy on the price? This car is just for street use with occasional "spirited" driving.

I bought the Raybestos Advanced Technology rotors from rockauto.com for less than the cost of the regular Raybestos rotors at the local chain store.

Rockauto has good prices and a good selection. I bought the Advanced Technology rotors when I did my C5 front brake conversion. They have held up well to this season's autocross and a couple trackdays.

The Raybestos "Professional Grade" is one of the brands we use in our shop. No turning required and haven't seen any cases of these rotors having any excessive runout.

Centric is another decent brand. Also carried by Rockauto.

I'll second the raybestos rotors. The last set of fronts I had to replace after THREE years of heavy road racing use.

I concur, Raybestos makes a good rotor. I would also recommend either the Aimco standard or the Aimco Extreme as an option. The extreme are slotted and drilled.

i got ATE slotted rotors from tirerack, the look is very cool and different. I have done a couple track events and the performance is only slightly better than stock (stock size rotors on an 86), very reasonably priced also.

I have them on my 85 for 5 years now, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. I got them locally, but RockAuto has them too. I used the same brand on my Cadillac when I did the brakes.

I used the coated rotors from NAPA.

I thought they were great. I drive the car hard on the street and I used them for autocrossing with no problems at all. Didnt switch the brakes for the autocrossing, just drove it the way it was on the street and the track.
