1996 LT1. To bypass the throttle body correctly. There is one hose with a 90 degree bend on the passenger side, Is the other hose that I connect together the same size hose that comes from the radiator to the FRONT part of the throttle body, above and almost touching the thermostat housing?

Not sure about the 96, but on the 92 LT1 one is 1/2" and the other is 5/8". You can get an adapter at the parts store to join the two.
BTW, if you ever have a mechanic work on your engine, make sure you tell them them this is of your doing. I usually turn my own wrench, but I needed some AC stuff done and the shop removed the bypass and put it back to stock thinking they were doing me a favor. I didn't notice it for months.
just unplug it from drivers side, pull out the 90 deg hose and plug in the hose you pulled from the drivers side at the fitting the 90 went into
On my 94, there wasn't enough hose to reach on the passenger side. I had to buy a longer length of hose, then tied the two together. I had to use an adapter with two different sizes also.

95-96 are different. All he has to do is what tblt44 already said. No adapters or parts of any kind needed.

Do you need to plug the 90 degree hose? After pulling the drivers side hose, should I put a plug on the outlet to prevent dirt from entering? Thanks for the info
