The best Prolong you can get is Mobil 1 or another high quality synthetic oil.

If their engine treatments suck as strongly as their car care products, hold onto your socks!:bb

I stopped using oil additives in the 70's and have never questioned that decision. If you use Mobile 1 and change your oil 3000-5000 miles you will get the more than enough protection of your engine. I read the Mobile 1 lab tests and am convinced that oil additives, no matter how great they sound, do not have a material benefit to your engine.

This is in my opinion.

Tom

PS. Also, you need to stop watching the infomercials.

This has become my standard answer for this type of question. Don't listen to us, go to http://www.google.com and do a search. You will find the government sights that list the lawsuits regarding this product. Make up your own mind!

No. Its only useful if you plan to run without oil for a while AND you don't mind that fact that it eats up bearing surfaces due to chemical reactions from the additive.
