I've been contemplating this for a couple years now. With heat being a big problem with SC application I've always wondered why someone hasn't made an intercooler using AC refigerent. You could use an electric motor to push the 134a (for simplicity) and have a small condensor mounted in the front of the car where the normal intercooler heat extractor goes with the lines going into the intercooler which would now just be an evaporator.
Not sure if it would create condensation like it does for the AC on our cars but it seems like this could really get the air cold going into the engine.
Have I just bumped my head to hard.... Looking at the intercooler's for the edelbrock e force and whipple SC kits is what got me thinking.
