Ok heres the whole story, I let the car sit for about 3 months (alternator was bad) I finally found a guy local to rebuild mine. I bought a battery, installed it, cranked up fine and ran, I pulled it into the garage to remove the alt. About a week went by from removing alt, having it rebuilt, and installing it. Now heres the problem.
After getting everything bolted up, it cranks (spins over fine) but will not fire up and run.
Heres what all I have checked/replaced:
-new coil and ignition module (had them in the shop)
-cleaned distributor cap and rotor
-spayed starting fluid in tb-it did start and run for a sec on that so figured problem was fuel, not ignition
-checked 2 white wires under steering column
-checked and replaced fuel pump relay (when replaced it did start and run for a sec then died)
Now I'm just about stumped, if anyone has any help or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!!
I finally got it running today, I ran B+ to the "G" terminal to power the fuel pump and it did not come on, as well as just turning the switch to the run position. Checked the wires/connections/grounds so picked up a new pump, replaced it, and fired right up and runs great!
