Instead of being disapointed with 300 RWHP, you should be grinning with that 400+ RWTQ. If you have good tires and can drive it, that 400 TQ is gonna kill almost everything on the street.
Do you plan to actually run this car at the track? Is so, and if low 11s are what you want then you will need:
AFR heads
Mini Ram
matched cam
headers
torque converter
Since you are not doing the work yourself, wait until you have all of the parts before you have anything installed. No sense in paying someone to do an intake swap for you now when they are going to have to pull the intake anyway once you buy heads. Same with headers and cam. The only exception would be the converter.
