c4 tremec trans question

Does anybody have a tremec trainsmission in a 85 corvette. If so do you have any upward movement of the shifter when starting out or in between shifts?

I have a TKO 600 in an 85 and have not noticed any movement upwards of the shifter. I can't say that there is absolutely none but I can say if there is any it is not enough for me to have noticed.

Check C Beam bolts.
When loose or holes in beam elongated ( common on stick cars ) it allows the rear of trans to lift
under load or change of load ( shifting )
