tran shift quest
i have an 86 vette
just got back from the track i ran an 8.51 but i manually shiftted my car and when i shifted from first to second i shifted then a couple seconds later the car shifted i have adjusted my tv cable but i got the same results. any ideas on what is going on here. did run a 8.30 testing a little nos dry shot

I dunno why you got the delay, but my guess would be a sticky or stock governor. Changing the weights(talk to a tranny shop about how much) might give you the results you're looking for.
