Where to start?
Greetings,
I want to get started on scanning my 85. No heads/cam/ etc mods, just bolt-ons like headers and so forth. Whats the best way to start? Should I go the laptop/cable/winaldl route or is one of those devices the best to get started with?
Any good entry-level articles/tutorials for a starting point going the winaldl route?

TunerProRT will also allow you to adjust the tune on your car but you need other hardware like a chip (EEPROM) programmer and a adapter for the new chip to replace the stock chip in the computer

Has not been updated recently and technology has changed but the theory and principles still the same
You no longer have to erase and reburn a stock chip, just electronically program a chip ( EEPROM ;Electronically Eraseable Programmable Read Only Memory ) as above
