They are real nice and thats a decent price! In the spring when the weather gets nice you should join us... We do some runs to Medford to an Icecream shop where there is a nice cruise night... There are other events too like the Jackson Outlets cruise night! Good Fun! Make sure you take your camera and video the run!!! Are they using their dyno where they take the wheels off and bolt it direct to your drive train?

Thank you very much I was hoping someone would have a similar build and could give me some input. I will be taking video and I'll have it online tomorrow when I get home! Thanks again

Here's a number of dyno results from stock to highly modified LT4's.

Results are in from East Coast Supercharging! Along with video and pics. Turns out I am making 335 rwhp so about 385hp at the flywheel.

Not bad, 335whp is about 30-40 over stock. For just a cam and headers that's not too shabby.

Nice! Cool Video and I was pretty close guessing! Not bad!
How was ECS? What did you think? Did they just do one run?
What exhaust do you have on there do you know? Is it headers with straight pipes?

Yea I was pretty happy with the results but I still wanna get another 30 hp or so without going into the engine. Need to start asking around.

You were almost spot on I was impressed, haha. ECS was awesome and the guys there really know their stuff. I actually took a video of their lot because they had a bunch of Vette's along with some new Camaro's that they were working on. They did a few runs on the dyno... pretty cool how the wheels came off to do it.

The exhaust on there now has melrose long tube headers.. random technology 3" pipes and RT bullet cats.

I have been reading that several LT4 owners have gotten their HP around 350-380 RWHP without engine work. Basically all bolt ons. Thats where im looking to get to I just need some guidance on what to change.

Youre going to have to do some digging at this point to pick up another 30 hp unfortuntately
Porting the heads intake and touch up your tune will get you there easily.

Im glad to hear it... I just wish they could tune our cars! They seemed really nice at the meets and their vettes were insane! The lope of the cam in the red one with the carbon fiber hood is insane! Glad to hear it went well!

without a dyno tune say 350 SAE and 300 RWHP. Get it on a dyno and see how close the guestimates are.... We would also want to know if it is a dynojet or mustang dyno... I would also say if prev. owner of this car had it tuned he or she had a printout of the dyno results. If you do get it tuned get the shop to also print the AFR on at least the final run. this will be very helpful to you in the future...

I know that the previous owner did get it tuned after all the mods were done... but that it was never dynoed. Thats why I had it done today so I could see exactly where it was.

I plan on doing some more... which is why im trying to do my homework now and figure out what needs to be done/focused on

I would start a serious search for a good dyno tuner. If the prev. owner had a tune but not on a dyno, there is probably still a significant amount still on the table. I bet a dyno tune would unleash more than a couple of ponies, especially on the top end. I'm not the expert, but basing this guess on conversations with the guy that was going to dyno tune mine until I ran into a personal recession. He basically described it as a two part process. First step was the partial throttle tune done just with software, than the dyno to dial everything in especially WOT. He said he would usually get 20-40 ponies depending on mods. But I take that as hear/say. At the very least you would know that you are getting the peak and may get an idea of where the weakness lies. I'm hoping to get it done this spring or sooner.

Were the heads not done by the previous owner???

Wonder what "tune" he had done???

Your cam, headers, hi-flow cats, 3" exhaust with a mild head work ought to get you to an easy 360 RWHP.

Is the horsepower SAE corrected??

The video was cool...nice car

I did'nt see an A/F ratio graph so you don't really know if your tune is spot on.I would'nt have expected him to make adj. for the price quoted but I would expect to see where you are at A/F ratio wise.

That is exactly what I plan on doing... Prolem is finding a reputable place to do it. I'm keeping my feelers out and hopefully someone will recommend somewhere to go. I'm going to give the 2 places ECS recommended to me a call first.
