...... Has anyone found a way to use a larger MAF on an '87 TPI ? ... If so, what was the original app and how difficult was it to pull the ol' switcheroo ?? ..................

Extended range tune blower or turbo cars have some more tuning options available for variable load based PE fueling and spark control for LV8 exceeding 100% under boost.
For the larger 4" housings, the original bin is effectively re-done with a new mask. This is necessary since the MAF tables have been redesigned with (4) 17 row tables to allow for additional tuning points overall, and to allow for more tuning points particularly in the low air flow region.
Smaller housings could use the new (4) table mask as well, but its not really necessary as the standard (6) tables are usually adequate.
In summary, the Blowerworks MAF and bin is much more than just a replacement MAF. Its a comprehensive tuning solution for any blower, turbo or big inch MAF car.
