Starting with a bone stock 94 corvette...What would the following mods do ? Engine was bored out .030 over so now it's a 355 ci New pistons of course and connecting rods. New larger camshaft (lopey idle to boot) Heads were given three angle valve treatment with 2.02 intake valves all new head parts they were also ported and polished, 30 lb injectors, Magna Flow exhaust with shorty headers, new optispark, new Maf, etc etc, and now you can .....need some help guessing what this engine work translates into horspower gain, claims $7,000 in engine receipts....any guesses would be greatly appreciated ? car needs total paint and rebuild about 5 years ago.....thanks Jim looking to purchase.........
It's hard to say without seeing the reciepts. There is so much BS as far as what people claim. It would sound like it's producing about 350 or so hp, assuming he's got everything dialed in. Now the down side. If you have emissions, you probably would be screwed. What's far more important is the condition of the rest of the car. Engines are usually the cheapest part of a restoration. A $7000 engine doesn't do much in a $3000 car. It's one of those "that's nice. but...." kind of things.

Depends on Heads (flow chart), cam specs, lifts. Crankshaft?, with 30 lb injectors its limited, Throttle body size? , intake port matched?
I've got 95 6spd, car listed on forum for sale, mods all made and documented and car has been dyno making 347hp/348tq, heads & intake ported and polished, stock injectors, cane cam, 1.6 roller rockers, msd optispark, wires, long tube heads with b&b exhaust, computer reprogramed, and this car is ready to go, a real hand full, has 315 tires on the rear and will distroy the tires in nothing flat.
I am thinking its somewhere between 320 and 350 horse..at the rear wheels, but this is so hard to guess without any info being there. The heads and cam sound good..shorty headers...not near as good as long tubers...
