Should I change plug wires
A friend has an 1989 coupe with 52,000 miles. The car is mint and has been very well cared for. It runs perfect. He wants to know if he should change his plug wires as a maintenance thing or not. Also, what wires to use if he should change them?

What is the mileage on the current wires? Supposedly wires last a while. If it'll make you feel better, change 'em :). I switched to the MSD's per the forums recommendation. Nice wires.

I would leave them alone. I'm a firm believer that is it aint broken...don't fix it.
